The Serie “Loki” is over. Although everyone expected to see in the final episode that moment of Loki on the throne of Asgard, which was even featured on the series’ official poster, we finally ran out of that moment.

To the director Kate herron, who has already confirmed that he will not return for the second season, they have asked him directly about that scene that we did not get to see. The filmmaker confirms that this scene that they did film was going to be part of the first episode. The idea was to show her in that moment of Loki’s memories, the reel of the highlights of his life.

The sequences were shot, but ultimately did not fit the tone, mainly because it detracted from the impact of Frigga’s death.

They tended to lean a bit more towards comedy, and the scenes weren’t bad. But when we were doing the montage, they were pretty close to where [Loki] go frigga [muriendo]. Obviously, We did not want to downplay that moment, because it is his mother who dies and is very emotional. It is always difficult. The scenes weren’t necessarily bad, they just didn’t look good. That’s why sometimes there are pieces that people see that don’t end up in the series.

Along with this, the composer of “Loki”, Natalie Holt, has also revealed that this throne scene was going to include the moment of Throg, the “frog version of Thor”, beating up Loki in an AVT time loop.

That was a moment in Episode 1. When Mobius shows him [Loki] her life, there were more moments there. I think they narrowed it down to give it a little more focus. But there were some extra moments, and that Frog of Thunder moment was one of them. Actually he had written, he had done something with the chorus for it as if it was this great moment where Loki takes the crown in Asgard, and then you see Thor as a frog.

Recall that not long ago, the writer Eric Martin already confirmed that the appearance of Frog Thor (Throg was scheduled for the first episode, for a longer scene, not just a fleeting moment of the fifth episode.
