MEXICO CITY. The National Online Baccalaureate Service, Prepa en Línea-SEP, will open its third call of the year, starting tomorrow, Monday, July 19, for those who have completed secondary education and wish to attend or complete the upper secondary level virtually in the non-school modality.
Interested parties must register their full name; Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) and two personal emails (main and alternate), on the site prepaenlinea.sep.gob.mx; registration ends when 50,000 applicants are reached and the deadline is Friday, August 6.

Prepa en Línea-SEP is a free educational option with official validity. Upon completion of the study plan, graduates receive an electronic certificate with recognition from the National Educational System, with which they can study at a higher level, if they wish, in any public or private institution, national or foreign.
The platform is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Thanks to this flexible schedule, this service adapts to different lifestyles, allowing students to combine studies with various work, sports, artistic, parenting or home care activities.
The curriculum consists of 23 modules, which are studied one per month, and meets the purposes of the New Mexican School, since the digital educational resources and the implemented teaching strategies contribute to the students using technology to develop skills, knowledge and skills.

Prepa en Línea-SEP allows the training of citizens with national identity, respect for human dignity, interculturality and nature, with the ability to face the challenges imposed by current times.
Thanks to the virtual modality, the program has national and international coverage for Mexicans residing abroad and who have internet access. At the same time, it offers a practical and comfortable way to study, as it is completed online, thus reducing time and avoiding travel expenses.
Applicants who comply with the registration process must take the preparatory module, which will be taught online from August 16 to September 12, 2021, where they will develop the basic technological skills necessary to manage the study platform and learn about the details of the educational model of Prepa en Línea-SEP.

The 24 thousand applicants who obtain the highest qualifications in the preparatory module, who have completed their registration and submitted their complete documentation, will be the ones who officially enroll in this service.
