Dozens of children supported the island’s children and youth in Miami this Sunday in their cry for “Freedom”, so that they know that they are not alone.
Dozens of children and young people from Miami joined their voices to express their support for the repressed Cubans on the island and to let Cuban youth and all those children who suffer that they are not alone.
Gathered this afternoon at Tropical Park, these little ones used their Freedom of expression to defend those who cannot speak on the island because they turn off their voices.
The reality of many Cubans on the island are mothers suffering for their children. Horrified children seeing their parents massacred. Young people arrested for peacefully expressing their desire for “Freedom”. To which is added the recruitment of young people forced to repress the people who protest in masses and unarmed.
One of the living examples is the case of the teenager Glenda de la Caridad Marrero Cartaya, who according to her family was arrested last Wednesday and faces accusations of promoting the social outbreak of the town of Jovellanos in Matanzas on social media.
Mayelín López Febles, a relative of the adolescent, has said that “more than 10,000 people took to the streets in Jovellanos then, as they believe that the mentality of a 15-year-old girl can manipulate a town into the streets.
“On Cuban television they said yesterday that all the children under 15 years of age who had detained them or something like that in the streets and that they were going to be in that school that is a prison because they took off their civilian clothes that were supposed to be in a school for two to three months ”.
With a message of hope, love and inspiration, the children of South Florida clamor for the freedom of Cubans and ask the world to hear the cry of a suffering people.
