The Flash: new images of Supergirl, the Batmobile and Barry Allen

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe took a big step with Loki – 96% by introducing the multiverse concept and making it a reality in the franchise, the irregular and in many ways disjointed DC Extended Universe (DCEU), will do something similar with The Flash, a film that will bring back Michael Keaton’s Batman (Birdman or ( The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) –

91%, Beetlejuice, the super ghost – 81% Hunger for Power – 83%) and that will introduce Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle.

Previously we had only had brief previews of the costumes of the three main characters, shared by director Andy Muschietti (It (It) – 85%, It: Chapter Two – 80%), and then the first images of Supergirl were leaked, which excited the fans, but now a new leak shows us the Batmobile of Michael Keaton, a new photograph of Sasha street as Supergirl, Ezra Miller (Justice League – 41%, The Stanford Prison Experiment – 84%, We Need to Talk About Kevin – 76%) like Barry Allen and the interior of the Batcave.

Not much is known about the plot, but the film will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic, where Flash goes back in time and saving his mother causes the future to be significantly altered. In the film adaptation it seems that the superhero will travel to another universe, specifically the one inhabited by Keaton’s Batman.

These images will be liked by fans, especially those who consider Batman – 72% and Batman Returns – 81% as two of the best superhero movies; the Batmobile created for these remains a favorite and returns in all its glory to The Flash. You can check it here:

It is clear that Barry has a surprised face because he is inside the Batcave, and although he knew Ben Affleck’s Batman (Argo – 96%, Armageddon – 39%, The Counter – 51%) in his own universe, it must be a very big surprise to find himself in another universe with an alternate version. Supergirl’s position appears to be challenging, although we cannot be sure; Her look, which we already knew from the previous photo leak, confirms that it is inspired by Lara Lane-Kent, from Injustice.

We can also verify that the set for the Batcave is huge and must have cost a fortune, which means that Warner Bros. is betting big on the project and that Batman’s secret hideout could be a frequent setting in The Flash. How Barry Allen will arrive in that alternate universe, we do not know, but the most reasonable thing is to assume that it will be exceeding the speed of light.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has remained cohesive for more than a decade, while the DC or DCEU cinematic universe is divided into at least two very different lines: the SnyderVerse, which was Zack Snyder’s original plan (300 – 60%, Watchmen, The Watchers – 65%, The Man of Steel – 55%) for the superhero saga, and the post-franchiseLeague of Justice, which some call HamadaVerse, in reference to the President of DC Films, Walter hamada, who stated in an interview that he has no plans to work with Snyder again.

The SnyderVerse would have remained buried had it not been for fans pushing so hard with the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut hashtag that HBO Max gave the director the opportunity to finish his film and show it to the world under the title Zack Snyder’s Justice League – 82%. In this one we discover the ambitious plans of the filmmaker, far removed from what Warner Bros. is doing with the franchise currently.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League It also served to show us a power of Flash that is present in the comics, his ability to go back in time. However, there is no certainty that Muschietti will maintain that power in his film.
