Hulu has shared a teaser of “Y: The Last Man”, the new television series that will premiere on the FX on Hulu platform after years of trying to adapt. This short teaser gives us the basic premise of the series, which doesn’t really show any actual footage from the series.
Imagine you wake up one morning to find that you and your pet monkey are the last Y chromosome mammals (male individuals) on Earth. That’s exactly the premise of the upcoming Hulu series based on the Vertigo label’s DC Comic book series of the same title. The series thus follows the survivors in this new world as they fight to regain what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.
The comic book series has had a long run in Hollywood since at least 2015 and has had multiple starts and stops along the way. The last major issue was a change in the lead actor after Barry Keoghan left the production in February 2020. He was later replaced by Ben Schnetzer in March of the same year.
The series will also star Diane Lane as Senator Jennifer Brown, Imogen Poots as the heroine Brown, Latasha Lynch as Agent 355, Juliana Canfield as Beth, Marin Ireland as Nora, Amber Tamblyn as Mariette Callows and Timothy Hutton as the president of USA.
“Y: The Last Man” was scheduled to premiere in 2020, but was delayed due to re-filming required in the pilot episode, as well as the pandemic. The series will now premiere on September 13th.
LEGO 75300 Star Wars Imperial Tie Fighter
The TIE fighter is equipped with an opening cockpit for a LEGO minifigure and 2 spring-loaded shooters that promise plenty of action. Includes a TIE fighter pilot with a blaster pistol, a stormtrooper with a blaster, and an NI-L8 protocol droid.
