The first time we saw Obi-Wan Kenobi was in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope – 93%, Alec Guinness was in charge of interpreting it and in that way consolidated the path of the great character, now nobody can forget it. But we should also not ignore the interpretation achieved by Ewan McGregor, who was Kenobi in the prequels several years ago, and who reinforced the Jedi in a surprising way with his decisions and strengths. Probably this young Obi-Wan is the more influential of the two, since his appearance in front of the cameras is more durable. Now he is about to return for more adventures in the galaxy.

According to Cinelinx (via Comic Book), the Obi-Wan Kenobi series could include Fifth Brother in his first live-action appearance. The character was already seen in Star wars rebels as a powerful Force user in his dark variant and trained by Darth Vader himself. Fifth Brother died during a match against Maul and Ahsoka Tano, but since the Obi-Wan series takes place earlier, we may see him in the flesh. We will have really exciting moments with the famous Jedi warrior, will they become the best the character has done? Even his own Ewan McGregor He was impressed with the filming set.

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s influence is truly amazing. The return of the character was confirmed in the D23 of 2019 and little by little we move towards the premiere of the series on Disney Plus, raising the public’s expectations about the story that we will probably see in 2022. It is clear that we will run into an Obi-Wan mature in age, but not as old as the one seen in Una Nueva Esperanza; many are hoping that his story has something to do with very young Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, characters who will meet at childhood during the development of this adventure.

With the poor result of the sequel trilogy, Lucasfilm and Disney are determined to leave that stage behind and produce new adventures that recover the classic spirit of Star wars. The return of Obi-Wan Kenobi could be that injection of hope that fans need to reaffirm that Disney is still capable of doing good things with the stories of the distant galaxy, they already verified it in part with the first two seasons of The Mandalorian –

91% and the journey continues. Will the production with Obi-Wan be the ultimate redeemer?

One of the following films by Star wars will be in charge of Taika Waititi, who was already in charge of the finale of the first season of The Mandalorian. Until now it is known that this new installment for the big screen will take place in the time known as the High Republic, when the Jedi were abundant in the galaxy and were in charge of dispensing justice. Some fans are fearful of what Taika He can do it, but others have full confidence in his talent and are certain that we will receive a phenomenal movie. It is very important that Lucasfilm does not stumble into cinema again, especially with Star wars; years of pressure for the study are coming.
