Jason Momoa announces that he will be blonde in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

The image that most people have of Aquaman is a blond guy, whose superpowers are talking to fish and riding a giant sea horse. That image, of course, derives from a cartoon that did not do justice to the character, because in the comics he is not a ridiculous subject that only makes us laugh, however, to erase that degraded image of himself, in the DC Comics film universe , Zack Snyder chose Jason Momoa as the one in charge of bringing the superhero to life, and so far few have complained about his makeover.

However, in the sequel to Aquaman – 73% it seems that Momoa’s appearance will get closer to the comics by changing her brown hair for blonde as in the print version. In his appearances in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice – 27% and in Justice League – 41% we were able to discover that Aquaman’s appearance was a bit far from the comics, but the superhero’s solo film brought him closer to Little else by removing his white eyes and giving him his classic gold and green suit, how far will James Wan go in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom?

There is very little we know at this time about the long-awaited sequel, but the news of the hair color change could indicate that the DC cinematic universe continues to change and moves further and further away from the now called SnyderVerse. The news was released by the actor through his Instagram, where he commented in a video (via The Direct):

The first installment had a budget of almost US $ 200 million, and the second will have a similar one, since it is a superproduction focused on fantasy and science fiction, unlike other installments of the DC Comics film universe that have more in common with traditional superhero stories. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will bring back Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.
