Today is Wednesday, July 21 and these are the main news of the day:
1.- The highest number of infections and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 is occurring among people who have not been vaccinated. Hospitalizations at the Jackson, for example, went from 96 on July 14 to 143 yesterday, the highest number in recent months.
2.- In the Ermita de la Caridad del Cobre, the parishioners continued to pray for the freedom of Cuba and for the end of the repression on the island. 4.- There is an alert for those who consume a brand of the famous Colombian bono bread. Coral Gables-based Quirch Foods recalled all 8-ounce packages of Mambo-brand bonus bread, sold at Publix, because it contains gluten.
5.- Netflix registered a historic reduction in new subscribers in the first half of 2021. The company obtained 5.5 million new accounts compared to the 26 million reported by the platform during the same period of 2020, when millions of people were in quarantine for the pandemic.
