One of the most anticipated films of 2022, and even more so after the events of “Loki” is the film “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. The second Strange film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will address the multiverse, and although they have said that it will not be necessary to have seen the latest Marvel series on Disney + to enjoy the film, they are looking forward to knowing how it will be addressed the consequences of the end of the first season of “Loki”.

The mystery continues to reign around the Marvel movie, but positive words keep coming. The last ones, those of the actor Benedict wong, who returns as Wong for the film, although we will see him earlier this year in the film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” The return of Wong for the second Strange movie was to be expected, as Strange’s “right hand”, although we still do not know what his role will be there, because we do not know too much about the plot, at least at an official level. Nevertheless, Wong wants fans to know that they should be excited.

One of the first things Wong does is applaud the script, which we remember was something that Michael Waldron and Sam Raimi literally put together from scratch after Scott Derrickson’s departure.

It’s a great script. And now, having Sam Raimi involved has been a really wonderful experience. He is a fantastic director and a charming man. It is a lot of fun working with him.

The actor’s praise for director Sam Raimi refers to his way of directing, in the sense that leaves a lot of room for improvisation:

I like to propose alternative things, and he likes them, so we laugh a little. I propose anything, and sometimes it doesn’t fit and sometimes it does. It’s amazing, the creative process. As long as you are not afraid to propose something, it may be right or wrong, but we are all trying to do something.

An interesting aspect is that set the end of filming for September. In other words, as usual, even though the main production of the film has ended, additional photography is planned.

We are having a lot of fun. We will finish it in September, so we almost have it.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” opens in theaters on March 25, 2022.
