Words can’t even begin to describe what I just saw. It is not even a movie, it is a work of art. We only watched about 10 minutes, but when you know it, you know it. I don’t throw this word out often, but for this, it works. Masterpiece.

So Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE: I was lucky enough to see the first 10 minutes of the movie (plus the extended scene involving a sandworm attack) at IMAX this week. Epic and truly exciting stuff that demands the biggest screen you can find. Oh … and its full screen title is DUNE: PART ONE.

I saw a preview of DUNE. The first 10 minutes, an action sequence, a sample of Zimmer’s score, and a new trailer. I was speechless. Freaked out. This is the level of The Lord of the Rings. The cinematography and the score, my goodness. Get ready for an epic movie!

OMG! I just watched the first 10 minutes of Dune. Believe me when I tell you, this movie will be unlike any other you have ever seen before. Absolutely epic!

Going into the Dune IMAX event, I was only expecting a new trailer and the first 10 minutes, but what we got is something out of this world! To say that Dune looks visually stunning is an understatement, the movie looks like something straight out of John Schoenherr’s illustrations!

Denis Villeneuve may have exceeded my expectations with this film. If the first 10 minutes and the scene of the spice harvester rescue are any indication, DUNE will be trouble free. The IMAX trailer comes out tomorrow and it’s a stunning look at the year 10191.

The first 10 minutes of Dune wonderfully set up the intricate world of this sprawling story so well. It’s a first-rate cinematic production, featuring stunning stills that were shot in a full IMAX 4: 3 aspect ratio. It is simply amazing. This will be a masterpiece.

I just had the Dune IMAX preview … all I can say is WOW. We watched the first 10 minutes, the spice harvester sequence, and the new trailer. It was big, loud, cinematic. This will be one of Zimmer’s best scores yet. It was also labeled Dune part 1.

I just came out of this IMAX event for Dune, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it will be a masterpiece. Everything was perfect. And this is based solely on the first 10 minutes plus another 5 minute scene, the new trailer, and the “Making of” clips that they showed.
