Hyundai casper spy photos future suv

To those who do not believe that a car can be something aspirational there is nothing but to explain the SUV phenomenon, and how that acronym has been indiscriminately given to virtually anyone with some clearance to the ground, to prove it. And an upcoming Hyundai model would be a great example of that.

Spy images taken by bobaedream.kr on some road in South Korea show a small, very small SUV, in full camouflage during some road tests. According to the Gaadi Waadi portal, it would be the Hyundai Casper, a future SUV that in addition to competing in its local market would also do so in India.

Although in principle its name would make us think that it would be because it will be a ‘friendly’ car, like a certain character on the big and small screen, in reality it would be a word derived from Aramaic that means Treasurer. Anyway, it is said that would share the K1 platform with the Grand i10 Nios and would be around 3.6 meters long (practically the same as the Suzuki Spresso), making it very small. I mean, it would be quite ‘friendly’ to drive.

These data would also suggest that the Hyundai Casper would have a 1.1-liter engine, five-speed manual transmission or an automatic AMT. Its main rivals would be the Mahindra KUV NXT, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the future Tata HBX.

At the moment not much is known for sure about the Hyundai Casper but its arrival in the markets where it will compete should be late in early 2022, so we will surely start to see and learn more about this model sooner rather than later.
