CaixaBank plans to carry out the operational integration by the merger with Bankia next November 12, a date from which the card contracts of former Bankia customers will be transferred to the subsidiary for consumer financing and means of payment CaixaBank Payments & Consumer, with its corresponding changes in the conditions.
The bank reveals this key date in the integration process in a communication addressed to its customers from Bankia, to whom it informs that the products they have contracted will undergo some changes in the conditions as of said integration of the operating systems.

PAYMENTS WITH THE MOBILE IN CAIXABANKNOW
Customers from Bankia will also have the CaixaBankNow app, which will replace Bankia’s digital banking, where they can view and manage their cards, as well as authorize electronic commerce operations.
As for purchases in stores through mobile phones, users can continue to make them with CaixaBankNow, although taking into account some considerations as of November 12.
Thus, those who paid using the Apple Pay or Samsung Pay apps should not take any action, as they will be able to continue operating normally with them, although they will need CaixaBankNow to manage their cards and view their movements.
On their side, customers who had mobile payment configured in their Bankia app or in Google Pay, they will have to reconfigure the mobile payment in the CaixaBankNow application, not being able to use their cards through these apps as of November 12.
In the case of users who pay through PayPal, after integration they will be able to associate their cards and view their movements through the PayPal website and app, not being able to do so through their digital banking from the technological integration .
