The 19th and third-to-last stage of the Vuelta a España had excitement until the end. Disputed between Tapia and Monforte de Lemos (190 km) it had as protagonists a large group of escapees that came to be made up of up to 12 runners and that ended up being limited to only seven who fought for the victory, no matter how hard the peloton tried until the last kilometer to tear down the leak. In the end, it was Magnus Cort Nielsen, for the third time in this edition, the one who took the victory at the finish line.
In the general Roglic continues to lead with an income of 2:30 on Enric Mas and 2:53 on ‘Supermán’ López. Haig and Egan Bernal complete the top five in the general classification, which will experience its last decisive day this Saturday, with an individual time trial.
