The Manchester City attacker, Ferran Torres, has definitely earned a place in Luis Enrique’s plans. He is the first national team player to reach or exceed this figure in a calendar year since Isco Alarcón in 2018, when he also registered the five goals and had a specific weight with Lopetegui and later with Fernando Hierro in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Ferran Torres faces his fourth season in professional football: he made his debut with Valencia’s first team at the end of the 2017/18 season and was definitively consolidated in 2018/19. The great level of the Valencian caught the attention of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, who incorporated it in the summer of 2020 in exchange for 23 million euros.
