The Italian Dennis Foggia he defeated the Spanish in the last lap Izan Guevara in the third free practice session of the Moto3 Aragon Grand Prix at the Motorland circuit. The Spanish Pedro Acosta he managed, in-extremis, the direct pass to Q2.
Foggia set a best time on his last lap of 1: 58.051 with which he surpassed Guevara by less than 25 thousandths of a second, who until that moment had been the benchmark and dominator of the category for much of the session. The world leader, Pedro Acosta, he had to do his best to improve his best time in the combine. The one from Mazarrón got “by the hair” in Q2 with the fourteenth best time, dropping his previous best time by almost one second.

His main rival in the category, second in the championship, Sergio Garcia Dols, suffered a fall without consequences during the session that did not prevent him from performing in the best conditions, which ultimately allowed him to finish sixth. After Foggia and Guevara the South African qualified Darryn binder, with the Argentine Hispanic Gabriel Rodrigo and the turkish Deniz Oncü, which had been the fastest of the first day, after him.
Jaume Masiá finished in eleventh position and therefore with a guaranteed pass to Q2, as well as Xavier Artigas, the Italian Roman Fenati and spanish Jeremy Alcoba. They stayed out and will have to dispute Q1, the Spanish Carlos Tatay and Adrián Fernández, in addition to the Ayumu Sasaki, Tatsuki Suzuki and Kaito Toba or the Czech Filip Salac, among others.
