The premises and establishments located in shopping malls may reopen their doors from this Monday provided they have a direct and independent access from “outside”, according to the order of the Ministry of Health published this Saturday in the Official State Gazette (BOE).

The document, which modifies various orders for better management of the health crisis caused by Covid-19 in application of the Plan for the transition to the ‘new normality’, adapts the text of May 16, in which it limited opening to establishments that had “direct and independent access from public roads.”

In the ministerial order of this Saturday, it modifies the direct allusion to the public thoroughfare, to indicate that the premises located in shopping centers and parks that may reopen from Monday must have “direct and independent access from outside the park or shopping center “

The text indicates that from next May 25 establishments and commercial premises that are within parks or shopping centers, “may proceed to reopen to the public provided they have a useful surface of exhibition and sale to the public equal to or less than 400 square meters or limit it to this threshold, and have direct and independent access from outside the park or shopping center. “
