The National Electricity Administration (ANDE) will exonerate customers who have a monthly consumption of 0 to 500 kv. This measure wants to help the families most disadvantaged by the coronavirus and so they can better cope with the economic crisis that COVID-19 has generated in Paraguay.
Customers will have to enter www.ande.gov.py and go to the Mi Ande section to click on the following text: Exoneration of Law 6554. Next, you must enter the NIS number, which can be found on your invoice. The system will generate your monthly consumption and tell you if you are exempt from paying the bill.
“Of the 1,200,000 invoices that we estimate would be being exonerated, we have exonerated 1,800,000 invoices. That is to say, out of 100 invoices, 77 invoices were correct. And underestimation or overestimation of consumption is minimal, ”reported Luis Alberto Villordo, president of the National Electricity Administration.

A user paid around 170,000 guaraníes and on the last invoice he paid 700,000 guaraníes, according to the newspaper Última hora. All those affected had to wait long lines to claim this error.
