Dak Prescott Still Negotiating With The Cowboys | Jim McIsaac / .

The Dallas Cowboys are still in talks with their quarterback, Dak Prescott, looking for a long-term deal.

A report by ESPN’s Todd Archer released Friday that the team made an offer to Prescott that would make him the second-highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.

Seahawks player Russell Wilson is highest-paid with an average of $ 35 million per year. Ben Roethlisberger follows with $ 34 million.

Considering that Dallas gave him the franchise player label, Prescott cannot negotiate with any other team. Both parties have until July 15 to reach an agreement, otherwise they will earn $ 33 million in the campaign.

The 26-year-old QB comes from leaving career marks with 4,902 passing yards and 30 touchdowns.
