PHOENIX – A cat named Fluffer went through an incredible transition after two pounds of matted fur were removed and then found a family who adopted him.
Fluffer was transported to the Arizona Humane Society’s Animal Trauma Second Chance Hospital due to the amount of his fur that added two pounds to his weight, according to the Arizona Humane Society.
A new medical technique gives them a wonderful opportunity after losing all their legs.
The society said the pet’s excess hair was removed and several extra pounds were added to its eight-pound body.
Fluffer is in good health and was adopted just two days after the haircut, authorities reported.
