The NBA continues to move forward with its plan to resume the season and it was recently revealed that the tentative date for basketball to return is July 31 in Orlando.
Everything indicates that there will be 22 teams that will see action. The 16 that are currently classified and others that are in a fight, such as the Pelicans, Trail Blazers, Spurs, Suns, Kings and Wizards. The date the season could end if the Finals extend to a seventh game would be October 12, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

The competition format is still being studied and a decision will be made in the coming weeks.
Virtually every team in the league has opened its facilities and only the Spurs, Bulls and Pistons remain with their training venues closed.
