New York —
Cardi B He posted a video on Instagram to show fans the new and colorful tattoo that decorates his body, from the bottom of the never to the middle of the back.
The elaborate composition includes a butterfly surrounded by various flowers of considerable size, in the same hyper-realistic style that was used to design a peacock that occupies much of its hip and right thigh.
At the moment, he still has two sessions left to complete the job, which he has commissioned artist Jamie Schene from California’s Union 3 Tattoo studio. However, it is unclear when he will be able to finish his tattoo due to the restrictions that still remain in force in that state and that keep many businesses closed.
On the other hand, it is obvious that Cardi has not resorted to a ‘homemade’ technique to expand his ink collection, as Paris Jackson and Kaia Gerber have done during confinement, and he has preferred to trust the true professionals.
It seems that butterflies have become fashionable again, although they have now moved from the lower back, where it was common to see them in the early 2000s, to move to other places on the body. Shawn Mendes recently got one tattoo that one of his fans had designed on his biceps, after seeing the drawing on social media and completely falling in love, and Ariana Grande also shines on the arm.
