Protesters in protests by George Floyd in Los Angeles have decreased significantly from their peak of thousands on Tuesday, but a small group still remained outside the mayor’s residence. Eric Garcetti, hours after the Los Angeles County curfew, and were arrested by agents of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), reports CNN journalist Kyung Lah.

The protesters continued to act peacefully and orderly before the agents who arrested them:

The group remained peaceful throughout the day, but tensions escalated after police arrived, CNN correspondent Kyung Lah, who is at the scene, said.

The police lined up in formation, preparing to try to clear the protesters, who were kneeling on the ground with their hands up.

“You can hear the siren when the police are about to start making arrests because they violate the curfew,” said Lah.
